We take product safety seriously
Kid Ready Safety Centre

We’re careful about what we sell.

We don’t test or certify products ourselves, and we don’t pretend to. What we can do is check the information available to us and leave products off the site when important Australian safety details, warnings or supporting information are missing.

Our rule is simple: if we’re not comfortable with the information we have, we don’t sell it. A supplier title or age claim on its own isn’t enough.

Things we usually leave out

We’re especially cautious with toys for children under 3, strong magnets, accessible button or coin batteries, infant sleep products, prams and strollers, flotation products, projectile toys and anything else where swallowing, choking, entrapment or strangulation could be a serious risk. We generally leave these products out unless the right information is available.

Furniture and home products

Some furniture sold in Australia needs specific warnings about toppling risk. Where those rules apply, we make sure the required information is provided. We also try to describe things plainly — a household safety product installed by an adult isn’t automatically a children’s toy.

Age guidance

Age labels are not a substitute for supervision. Products shown as furniture, storage or household equipment should only be used as intended and installed in accordance with manufacturer instructions. If a listing says a product is not suitable for children under 3, that limitation is part of the product information, not an optional recommendation.

If something is recalled

We keep an eye on Australian product recalls and remove affected products when we identify a match. If you already own something that has been recalled, stop using it and follow the official recall instructions.
